Mrs. Kitty Sibley Morrison
CEO, Founder, Principal
Kitty Morrison is not only an expert in Christian education, but also grant-writing, college tutoring, ACT & ASVAB preparation. She was a national trainer in Results-Oriented Management and Accountability for Community Action where she earned three coveted awards: Community Action Professional for nine years, 2000-2009, Teacher of the Year in 1995, and her literacy program at Quad Area, St. Amant Academy, won the most innovative way to fight poverty in the nation in 2006. In 13 years at Quad, Sibley-Morrison and Iris Chapman wrote over 100 million dollars in grants to help people escape the quicksand of poverty, many of those programs involving literacy and social work, including homeless veterans and Youth-Build.

Anita Vickery is an excellent addition to our team. She helps with computer issues, web design, and promotional materials for our organization, as well as helping at graduation ceremonies three times a year as supportive staff.

Winnie Morrison Hughes
Homeschool & Montessori Consultant & Blog Contributor
Winnie is a product of Christian home schooling education and continues the work with her own children and a band of loyal followers called the Wild Explorers. She is a contributor to many home school magazines, and her articles will be included in the blog section of this webpage. She is also artist, worship leader, song writer, but dedicates most of her time to her family and their education. She is also the daughter of Kitty Sibley Morrison and Dr. Sam Morrison. She holds three degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University - education, science, and Spanish. She also is state-certified in Montessori education.

Suzanna Morrison Poché
Consultant and Graduation Support
Suzanna is the granddaughter of Kitty Sibley Morrison, raised as a Quad kid in the home schooling program. She knows the program inside and out. Presently, Suzanna is a case worker with the Livingston Parish Department Children and Families, but she has worked as nanny, hostess & security at Yellowstone National Park, and communications at North Oaks Hospital. She works with our program as consultant and graduation coordinator.
Kandi Barber
Our Heart
Kandi has been at the heart of the school since before its new location. You made find her most of the time at the front table doing PACEs or artwork. Kandi makes all guests welcome. She might even sing to them. We could not survive without our Kandi in our heart. What a blessing!
Texas Marie Rigsby
Certified Elementary &Special Education Consultant
Texas is our resource for special situations requiring knowledge of workable techniques and ways to improve the quality of the work of those in elementary school or needing unique academic accommodations. She holds B. A. and M. Ed. degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University and is certified not only as elementary education instructor, but mild, moderate, and severe special education scenarios.
Dr. Sam Morrison, DDS
ASVAB, History, and Science Tutor
Dr. Sam assists students successfully in preparing for ASVAB in order to enter the military successfully. He has a BS from LSU, MS from SLU, and DDS from Louisiana State University Dental School. He is a blessing to our faculty, and he loves raising academic levels in his students
Dr. Mary Herget
Consultant & Off-site Tutor of Distance Learning
Dr. Mary holds 2 bachelor’s degree in music and music theory, 3 master’s degrees, and 2 doctorates. She helps SPS in tutoring off-site in French, Spanish, Music, and Art. She is currently on staff at Silliman Institute in Clinton, Louisiana, but she attends SPS graduations, playing the piano to the amazement of all who hear.

Jonathan and Brandy Burton
NOLA Preparatory School, New Orleans, LA
NOLA Preparatory School is a literacy ministry in NOLA, carrying on the legacy of SPS. This school is outstanding, and it helps people out of the quicksand of poverty each year. Brandy is a Tulane graduate, while Jonathan is a graduate of Northeastern Florida University. They are pastors of Regeneration Church, an Assemblies of God ministry, as well as directors of Cross-It-Up Ministry and lead the Louisiana Black Coalition Against Abortion.
